I am starting my own "question" list now. Paperwork is a nightmare and the rules do indeed seem to be the biggest obstacles...and I thought love would solve the problems...lol.
The lines between travel insurance and health insurance can get fuzzy. Travel insurance (usually) is for short-term trips and emergencies. Health insurance is for actually living somewhere long-term. If you're planning to stay abroad indefinitely, health insurance is what you want.
